Objectives of the Foundation
The main aim and objective of the Foundation is to establish a fund for
the purpose of endowing scholarship to deserving students of Indian
Nationality for Graduation, Post-Graduation, Research whether in
the field of Industrial, Management, Technical, Scientific and Medical
education in any state of India or abroad, who cannot afford to
pursue higher studies due to poverty/economic backwardness.
The main aim and objective of the Foundation is to establish a fund for
the purpose of endowing scholarship to deserving students of Indian
Nationality for graduation, post-graduation, research whether in
the field of industrial, management, technical, scientific and medical
education in any state of India or abroad, who cannot afford to
pursue higher studies due to poverty/economic backwardness.
Aims are to
- To establish, maintain and run studentships, scholarships
and render other kind of aid to students including supply of books,
stipends, laboratory equipment, computers, study/course material
and other incentives to study.
- To provide funds/grant aid in cash or in kind, to schools,
colleges and other educational institutions for upgrading their
existing facilities for the benefit of the students.
- To establish, develop, maintain and grant aid in cash or
in kind to hospitals, medical institutions, medical colleges,
nursing institutions, dispensaries, maternity homes, child welfare
centers and/or such other similar charitable institutions in India
for the benefit and use of the general public .
- To establish, run, support and grant aid or other financial
assistance to schools, colleges, libraries, reading rooms, universities
and laboratories, research and other institutions of the like
nature in India, for use of the students who want to pursue technical,
industrial, scientific, and medical education and also for the
development and advancement of education and diffusion of knowledge
amongst the public in general.
- To support, organize and encourage scientific meetings,
seminars, symposiums, writing of papers, workshops and other related
activities.
- To promote, establish, support, maintain or grant aid to institutions
for the promotion of science and technology, research and development,
literature, music, humanities, drama and fine arts, for the preservation
of historical monuments and for research and other similar studies,
in India or abroad for the benefit of the public in general.
- To establish and develop institutions for the physically
handicapped and disabled or mentally retarded persons and provide
them education, food, clothing or other help.
- To establish, promote, support, maintain, help, run and
grant aid or other financial assistance and provide facilities
to or for any homes, orphanages and any other institutions or
establishments, for the relief of assistance to the poor and destitute,
orphans, widows, the aged and any other underprivileged members
of the public and to provide food, clothing and shelter for the
poor, needy and underprivileged members of the public and to otherwise
help and assist them in any way, whether financially or any other
manner.
- To support and grant aid to any institutions, organizations
and establishments for the welfare of the weaker sections of the
society and for women and children and any other underprivileged
members of the public.
- To give financial or other assistance to any establishments,
bodies, institutions, organizations and public charitable Foundations
engaged in any works or services of general public utility.
- To issue appeals and applications for money and funds in
furtherance of the said objects and to accept donations, gifts,
endowments, or any other assistance or assets and properties whatsoever
from any person, firm, association of persons, company body corporate,
institution or organization, including any Government or Government
body or authority and whether in or from India or abroad.
- Generally, to do or perform all and any other acts, deeds
and things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of
the above objects or any of them, including by the formulation
and carrying out of any projects or schemes relating to any of
the aforesaid matters or otherwise intended for attainment of
any of them.
The expression “Charitable purpose” shall always
be construed as excluding any purpose of a religious nature and
the Members of the Foundation shall always have the power to restrict
or regulate.
